My research focuses on observational studies of star forming molecular clouds using millimeter and submillimeter radio telescopes as well as modeling the radiation emitted from these clouds. I am currently an assistant professor at California State University, Stanislaus in the Department of Physics, Physical Science, and Geology. Before that I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Star Formation Group of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. I graduated from UMass in 2003 with a PhD in Astronomy and Cornell University in 1995 with a B.A. in Astronomy.
